- Washed and cut spinach (2-3 bunches)
- One large onion chopped
- 1 carrot diced
- 1 cup of rice (or bulgur / quinoa / other grain)
- Oil and salt to taste ; sour cream/ heavy cream/ yogrut /feta cheese (optional)
Put all ingredients in a pot (shown above). Add water and boil until grain is done (~30min). Add sour cream or heavy cream at the end. Goes well when served with yogurt / feta cheese crumbs.
