Napa Cabbage Salad (4)
1/2 head Napa cabbage
1/2 bunch green onions, chopped
2 tbs plus 2 tsp butter
1 tbs sesame seeds
1/2 cup delivered almonds
1/4 cup plus 2 tbs vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbs soy sauce
1/2 package ramen noodles crumbled
1. Shred cabbage. I use knife. Combine cabbage and onions in bowl and refrigerate
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
3. Make crunchies- melt butter in pan. Mix in crunchies: seeds, almonds, noodles
Spoon onto baking sheet. Turn off oven and put crunchies in the oven. Turn often to prevent burning.
4. Dressing. Heat, oil, sugar, soy sauce and vinegar in small sauce pan.
Cool crunchies and dressing and add to cabbage and serve immediately.
*I prefer to mix it in morning to soften the cabbage.
