EGGS: are in high demand and we are having problems supplying. So all dozens may be one egg shy to cover the shortage. This shortage should straighten out by Fall. When come September 1st, egg prices (both dozens and half dozens) will increase .25 cents.
BEEF: We have two born (on the farm) and raised (on the farm) year and half old black (mostly angus) steers. 100%drug and antibiotic free.
On Fair Ridge all animals are on lush pastures with fresh water. During the winter they were fed on farm grain and some feed from the local mill, along with stored hay. These steers are now at prime size for slaughter.
The steers will be locally processed by Hunter Meats (State certified processor) last week of August or first week of September. (Hunter’s will age/hang the beeves for about 10 days).
Per HALF beef you will receive approximately 300 pounds of meat, approximately as follows:
Steaks: Porterhouse 4, Tbone 12, Rib 14, Round 9, Sirloin 5, Filets 4
Roasts: Chuck 7, Rib 3, Rump 2, Wedge 2
Ground Beef: 65-70 pounds
Per full beef you will receive approximately twice the above quantities.
Pricing for @300 lb HALF beef:$8.00lb
Pricing for @600 lb FULL beeves is $7.50lb
A 50% down payment is required to place an order.
